All too often we hear of ‘want-to-be’ marketers who are unable to get a foot on the ladder due to lack of experience. The irony is that these individuals, given the chance, could shape the way in which the Island\'s businesses market themselves in the future.
The Jersey branch of the Chartered Institute of Marketing is delighted to be able to offer the marketing shadow scheme for the 5th consecutive year, which provides placements to students who seriously wish to pursue a career in marketing.
The Scheme gives 6th Form and Undergraduate students the opportunity to experience what it is really like to work ‘in Marketing’ by partnering with a professional marketer for a shadow placement lasting up to 5 days. The placement will be held during school vacation time, at a time to be agreed between the student and the professional marketer.
