Judging took place on 7 October and this year’s judging panel was Chaired by Paul Say, Head of Marketing at HSBC Bank International, who was joined by; Steve Cartwright FCIM, Chairman, Jersey Branch of The Chartered Institute of Marketing, Mike Liston OBE, Chairman of Jersey Post Group Ltd and Professor Paul Fifield, the noted marketing academic, consultant and author.

Mr Say said: “The quality of this year’s entries has been outstanding and the judges were particularly impressed with the breadth and sophistication of work submitted. It is clear that the tough economic conditions faced by organisations over the past 12 months have driven local marketers to be more innovative, resourceful and creative than ever. We thank all those who entered and offer our congratulations to the shortlisted nominees.”

The winners of the Awards will be announced at a Gala Dinner held on Friday 20 November at the Hotel de France, where over 500 of the Island’s marketers and business professionals will gather to celebrate local marketing excellence.

The 2009 Jersey Chartered Institute of Marketing Awards are kindly sponsored by: Ship2me, Delta Conference Systems and The Beach Creative Communications, with support from Jersey Telecom and Gallery Magazine.
